I played this game in nearly all versions (as well as the other games and their versions in the series) since it was released. I enjoyed the improvements it made on the combat system of the original, and the additions Dark Gaia made with the wandering enemies. The original game only had enemies appear when trying to solve (or having solved) a puzzle. They also removed the healing basin that was present in every save…

Obtuse puzzles, broken variables, and solutions that aren't clear unless you simply try everything. It's entertaining, to a degree, but it's very clunky and has a lot of errors. One item (thankfully not necessary to move forward in the story) I couldn't obtain because the answer to the puzzle was correct, but the variable supposed to hold said answer was *blank*. I would only get on sale, if you MUST have it.
