Crim's Humble Opinion Curator Roaches and Ghouls and Gods Oh My A friend had pointed out to me that this game reminded them of a title called Sweet Home for the Famicom and after seeing some footage of that game I can definitely agree it strikes a similar chord. Based on my first playthrough, I recommend it, but it's definitely a niche experience, the game features: - Japanese weird-science fantasy-horror theme. There are some dark moments (potentially scary), but pulpy and shonen-like manga for the most part. This is not a Corpse Party type of atmosphere. - Very simple graphics, music and sound effects. - Inventory management, feels slightly more survival horror than…

Its charming, yes. But is really simple, the fights were pretty much A-A-A-A-A. Didn't need to use magic, and the two hard bosses i get the feeling that they simply demanded more grinding than strategy. The story isn't that good or original, and the whole lovecraftian atmosphere wasn't even there. Its short, and my interest in it was shorter. I can't say I had fun playing this game, hence I don't recommend it.
