Recommended
Great roguelike tower defense. Many mechanics feel unique, and the gameplay loop is engaging from start to finish. They are one of the few studios/devs who successfully pulled off an art change after early access, and did that by improving on what was already there while keeping its charm. The soundtrack is great, and it is fun to try the different classes and strategies. I really need to get back into it.

I keep coming back to this dome. I love Dome Keeper, it's probably one of the only games that I feel took the magic of flash games from the late 2000's and turned it into a full-fledged video game; there's an incredibly satisfying gameplay loop that's addictive and punchy. This game is quite unsatisfying, the rounds are far too short to justify the tasks needing done. If the game were maybe 2-5x speed id get it and appreciate the rush and the speed of the game. Except it is a slow and unforgiving grind and honestly the upgrades and stuff do not excite or interest me very much, it is a very manual combat system with slow controls and that never really changes, just number go up.
