This game lacks a bit of identity, tries to do too much and in the end it doesn't manage to deliver. Tries to be like Sniper Elite or Hitman, but levels are too linear and story is too shallow. The level design is more like a corridor shooter and while the sniper shooting is fun you have no real freedom to approach your missions. I appreciate that the developers learned from some mistakes and it seems they listened to some legitimate feed-back from the players. The result is that Contracts 2 has improved the 2 greatest flaws of Contracts 1: - they made aiming/sniping easier, because know it's more like in the Sniper Elite series ( with some visual aids ), so that makes sniping and in consequence the whole game much more fun and it helps with…
