Discovered this thanks to the youtube series called Steam Sequence, I am glad I gave it a go! Been a while since I've done a sidescroller, and the artwork and animation of this was beautiful. This is one of the most infuriating platformers I've ever played. Which is unfortunate, really. The level design is mostly amazing (especially the 2 last floors), the hidden levels are all super interesting, the story is very cool... but jesus christ, the controls are annoying. Maybe playing with a controller fixes most of these things, but with M+K it's an absolute nightmare. First and foremost, you need to hold…
