So after trying the tutorial battle, then reading the manual(takes about 15 mins) and then replaying the tutorial, here are my thoughts: This is a turn based(WEGO system, my favorite) "tabletop" style wargame, with utilitarian graphics. Like many on the forums I want to like this game. This is a *great* subject matter for a game, the devs have clearly put in a lot of work, there are an excellent mix of scenarios. Bought this to play against a friend, not for solo play. Very primitive controls and battle feedback. Most battles hard to tell what is going on or even who is really winning. Battle replay in multiplayer mode too cluttered. Good sound effects, horrible intro song (turned it off). Seemed like a great concept, but the implementation is too crude to enjoy.
