I really liked this game, it's beautifully illustrated and voiced, very introspective. But I have to admit that it requires a lot of patience, so I can't honestly recommend it to everyone.

I just finished Minute of Islands and I need a cuddle, not just for me but my inner child that grew up watching my mother do it all and thinking that was the norm and it wasn't. As I grew up I thought doing it all meant you're the hero, the one who people can count on and rely on, so I did it all too. Now here I sit an adult playing this wonderfully sad and beautiful game remembering the island my mother made of…

There is no replayability in this game. You can’t select individual chapters, so after finishing the game, so the only way to revisit previous locations is too start game from beginning. It’s quite shameful, because this game has some lovely scenery, and this game is discouraging you from visiting back to those beautiful locations.
