The Bots actively make exploring unfun. I loved the game before their introduction, but they're clearly balanced for endgame or multiplayer and they start spawning in early and endlessly. In the game's current state, the only way actually reach far enough into the game in single-player to unlock the weapon upgrades that just make them annoying instead of lethal is to either turn off enemies spawning in the options…

I went back and forth on yes or no for recommendation. It was.... ok. Wasn't terrible, wasn't great. Picked it up on sale. When I heard it referred to as "Subnautica in the sky" I didn't expect the story to be almost the exact same. Building the airship is cool. Lots of decorative stuff.
