TL;DR - Great game, fun to play. Now that it is working as intending the ascention tree gives many options and makes the progress interesting and addicting. When I started playing the game, there was sadly a major bug in it, we were able to buy infinite upgrades on the forge boosting the mouse cursor damage into the millions, which let every player finish the game in less than 2 hours. Reported that bug in the forum…

...it BECOMES good. Eventually. The game relies a little too much on the Prestige (Ascension, here) mechanic, and it is a slog until unlocking the "Battle Hardened" upgrade, which makes you restart 10 levels below your previous maximum.
