Overall I'd say this game is very cozy and relaxing, has an endearing little main character, stunning artwork and a very Grimm-esque atmosphere. It will entertain you for a couple of evenings, but only if you go in ready for a continuous grind and fetch quests (which I frankly got tired of halfway through). To be clear: this game has no real combat, it's primarily fetch quests and continuous ingredient collection…

You go around gathering ingredients, crafting things to kill creatures to get more ingredients, and every quest is 'craft this thing'. If 'nested crafting: the game' isn't your thing, don't play it. If, however, you enjoy switching off your brain for a bit and going through this sort of gameplay loop, this game does it really well. It's okay.. But not too exciting. You gather ingredients, combine them, give/use them somewhere to progress in the story. I am now in the what I believe to be the last section and had been really hoping I would be done by now. I don't feel like doing the same chores again, just with more items and layers and for different NPCs..
