One of the biggest problems with Beat for Speed is the COMPLETE LACK OF TRANSPARENCY surrounding its use of generative AI. Concerns about the game's code, the music featured in the demo and the translations have been raised repeatedly within the community for quite some time, yet the developers have never provided a clear response. This isn't a game. It's an interactive music visualizer at best. The sound of the bike hitting the notes is loud, abrasive, and almost always off-beat with the actual music. The gameplay is wonky and far too easy mechanics for an active rhythm-gamer to enjoy. The music selections are either AI music or royalty-free, so none of them are great.
