This game is delightful to the point that it makes me question the current broader philosophy of game design. It's straightforward, but you can be crazy and go spend 20 minutes killing an overpowered mob for lots of exp, it's open world, but you never wonder what to do. It's not easy, and you'll die a lot, but it never feels like it's wasting your time, it only feels like you can try again and do better.

A cute well crafted game. Cat Quest begins with the hero looking for her lost sister in a big island inhabited by cats. You are quickly identified as someone with special powers and get ongoing on small quests. It's a 2d action game with emphasis on heavy combat.
