Although I don't like horror RPGs and short gameplays, I was surprised by how good this game is! It makes you think about the lore and the information you collect during the gameplay. Especially the expansion, which in my opinion is much scarier than the base game.

this game was a really intense commentary on addiction and war. the game takes place in WW1, but the nationality of the soldier is truly ambiguous. it is not about the justification for fighting or starting a war, but rather the absurdity and horror that soldiers experience. the traumatizing images we react to and scream at on the news are the mundane in trench face. while navigating the horrors of trench warfare,…

enemies do way too much damage and healing items are kinda expensive so its hard to get back health and saving requires a limited resource so you wont save often but that means that when you die (or the game decides to crash which is does semi frequently) youll lose a lot of progress and all these problems become 10x worse in the expansion.
