This game is not fun in the way games normally are. Pathologic is very slow, thoughtful, and immersive. You'll be rewarded heavily for focusing, following the plot, roleplaying, and generally being careful. But at the same time, if you get comfortable, careless, or greedy at a bad time? It is not afraid to be really cruel. It can make you very, very desperate at points. I don't think a game's made me celebrate…

Some cool ideas, but mostly overrated and dragged out. Very linear game, choices largely don't matter and the gameplay loops become meaningless quickly (survival, curing people, etc). The worst is the writing, it is the embodiment of imverysmart and im14andthisisdeep. Style without substance, and the morale/twist/whatever can be deduced by like day 3 out of 12. Rest is a slog towards a predictable end. I finished…
