I played the free demo version for 17 hours over the last few weeks. The full version is a whole new world compared to that! This game is the Civ V Gensoukyou total conversion mod that never was. The 4X gameplay is fast-paced, but the 30x30 grid map allows for a longer playthrough, though the game isn't quite at the point where you can play SimCity forever like you can in Civ. Lacks features to allow for easily dropping out of a match once taken out of the game, forcing a host to sit and wait until the game finishes. Couldn't even refund the game because I spent so much time not playing it to let others finish. Needless to say, I'm not a fan of being forced to sit and do nothing for an hour or more because I wasn't the best player in the lobby. It's bad design that makes hosting a match a…
