I had so much fun with this, it was an incredibly charming metroidvania that avoids so many of the traps that many other indie metroidvanias have fallen into nowadays. The game respects your time, it's not randomly throwing in souls-like mechanics or trying to make it brutally hard just for the sake of it. It’s not bad but it sure ain’t good I told myself I wasn’t going to write this review, but once I got to a boss that reversed my controls I couldn’t take it anymore.
