I'm just midway through beating Hardmode with no respawns and I love the game, but I have to say if feels surprisingly annoying how close the game is to being able to be controlled exclusively with only keyboard or only mouse, but no matter how you set up the controls there's always one input required from either of the two. The “game within a game” idea was done really well. The story it tells was interesting. The mechanics were good and atmospheric. Being able to defend with items like the barricade and the beartrap made the game even better, and there were other useful items too. It was also a creative idea to have separate challenge modes. The pixel artstyle fits the game well too. 🚗
