You're either REALLY going to love this because of its charm, story, and ost. Or REALLY hate it from some 2015 low budget gameplay/jank. I'm glad I took a chance on it and didn't skip straight to the sequel which is supposedly much higher quality.

Great game, amazing soundtrack, graphics are just decent although it is a pretty old game now. I've had no trouble running the game on my laptop either so thats a bonus! Since this is a direct port from PS4, the devs forgot to add a dedicated exit option, you can only exit the game by pressing alt, f4. Other than that slight oversight, its worth playing.

I read the reviews that the controls were broken. I expected to be in pain but I didn't expect this much pain. It's just... unplayable on Steam Deck. I played Nights of Azure 2 on Switch with horrendous framerate but otherwise no issues but for Nights of Azure 1 on Steam... the controls are so painful, nothing makes sense, not even with custom community layouts. There is no way to play this game with a controller.…
