A very fun bite-sized deckbuilder! Very cute art and story! And the gameplay kept me hooked! Every encounter gains unique gimmicks as you progress the game. They can use these gimmicks while it's still your turn which keeps the game interesting! This game also has a good number of deck archetypes you can build around. You get to build your deck ahead of time and need to win each battle in one turn. Instead of energy, each card draws cards from your deck until you're out. Runs take maybe 5 minutes and you can even toggle fights to test out new decks against specific enemies. There's not a ton of content in the game, but if you like the combo/synergy side of deckbuilders it's definitely worth a spin.

Here are the reasons I refunded instead of spending more time with it: - The game unlocks things when you win combats but the pacing of the unlocks is off. I have upgrade chips for a feature I haven't unlocked. I have a card that boosts itself under conditions that I cannot possibly currently…
