The game itself is cute, chill, relaxing. The problem is the community. On one hand there's the totally normal people who are lax and all good from all around the world. On the other... I mean the game was dropped due to the dev being harassed and doxxed, not surprised it has weirdos. positive but can't recommend for what is advertise. Play solo offline and chill on your island or only with close friends. There was plenty of drame pushing the dev to just... stop. All because he made the "straight" title expensive compared to the others. Doxing, treaths and other nasty. No one deserve what the dev went trough. And now this charming fun game just got put into this frozen state that will never see…

This game was great. Past tense. Unfortunately, I must write this negative review because the dev has abandoned the game and it now runs rampant with hackers. The game is no longer safe to play online because people can gain remote access to your PC as well as pull your IP address. TLDR; DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME OR RISK GETTING HACKED "Rift Fishing" currently has a free demo if you want to play a similar game :)
