GULLET is a difficult cosmic-horror exploration game in which you rappel down into and explore a colossal mouth post-rapture. In it you will manage resources and control how quickly you descend by how tightly you squeeze your left hand brake in real life and in the game.

A fun little experience, has some quite challenging sections that require getting used to little quirks of the system that you can use but never became frustrating. The size of things alone didn't quite trigger any tension for me at the start, but I found the second half of the game very creepy.

Behind this game about carefully descending ropes and managing your energy is the story of what it's like to lose the people around you and the regret of not getting to say goodbye. The scale of the giant maw is really well realized. You truly feel that you are an insignificant little speck in that mouth. Traversal is fun, but difficult, and challenges you to keep tabs on how far you're dropping…
