I enjoyed this. yes it's made with free assets, I've bought dozens of games that have the same environments but this is what it looks like when it's done well. I really enjoyed this. I did get it on sale at about $7, it's worth more than that. Yes the puzzles where you can only move one at a time and switch is annoying but it's minor. I enjoyed the music, I enjoyed figuring out what item works for what.

Man I played this as a kid. 5 minutes in and I'm already getting goosebumps. 2 hours in, and I start remembering the twins...... now I'm looking for them at every corner. Creepy little freaks. I also remember getting stuck after using the axe and trying to water the stumpy neck cause I wasn't sure what to do next. Can't wait to try it again.

The charm is gone. I played all the previous games in giddy anticipation to play this remake. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I love how weird and creepy it is but that's it. The second I found the gun I knew this was not the game I remember. I am running around with a gun. Just out. Constantly. Because things just pop up every 3 steps to attack you.
