I am a bit of beginner when it comes to horror games, and this is a great beginner game. There is great build up, sound design is good enough, and you are always wondering what the heck is going on. I will say, there is a point where in my head it clicked that this game wasn't too scary, but instead just very dark (lighting wise) and dramatic. This game has the tension building down pat. I did get annoyed a bit when it seemed like we were headed to one particular floor but instead went to another lol. I guess that was the point.
