The Beast somehow manages to make playing as Kyle Crane feel like working a minimum-wage delivery job during the apocalypse. Most of the game is running back and forth between objectives through the same copy-pasted, mostly empty buildings. Exploration feels pointless because the loot system is awful. There’s barely any weapon variety, almost nothing exciting to find, and no matter how much you play, you never get…

A good game. The only question is: why did someone who endured so many betrayals and over ten years of torture remain so trusting?
