This game is a fun homage to the original Bomberman—it's essentially Bomberman on steroids. It has new powers, maps, charming visuals, and cool character designs. I think that Bomberman old timers will feel right more comfortable, but new players might find it less intuitive at first. It's ok. Compared to the Atomic Bomberman on PC, or Master Blaster on Amiga it's a little bit clunky. The controls aren't that smooth and it feels more like the original Dyna Blast (or whatever was the name) from 30 years ago. The main thing lacking is ability to play up to some score. Instead of having the single arena and set number of lives, it would be nicer if you could play a best-of-7 series or similar modes…
