Absurdly good game that feels as fresh as a new title and comforting as a late night memory of the GBA when youre supposed to be sleeping for school. Highly recommend.

Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo is a great indie game that beautifully emulates old Game Boy Advance games. That being said, it just gets too much in the second half. In this section, the game starts to suffer from restraining itself for 2 main reasons. First, the new mechanics introduced start to require too much effort to execute despite actually being simple. I actually like this game, but it seriously fatigued me the longer I played. My biggest problem is that the world is simply too big and the game often does a poor job telling you where to go. Objectives are sometimes only explained through dialogue, and afterward you can easily end up wandering around a huge map trying to figure out the correct path.
