About the game

A silly little physics-based game about moving on... or is it? Be neat, be careful, or be a chaos goblin. The choice is yours. But be warned, not all is as it seems in this quiet little house.

It seems too many people expect one of these "horror indies", and Moving Houses is not that. But it does have a good sense of unease and slight surrealistic twist that's a bit Lynchian. Plus that damn catchy song! I'm still humming it!

Short and sweet experience with a really interesting concept behind it. Pretty short overall, but my main gripe would be that toward the end the core mechanic ends up getting left completely unused. That said, the actual story twist at the ending was super entertaining and well done. Good way to spend an evening if you can pick it up for cheap

This game is nothing special. But what makes me upset is that it really could have been. Instead its been watered down with lazy, overly expository writing with no palpable sense of tension and cheap jumpscares for streamers to pog-face at. And the gameplay isn't really satisfying. The packing felt tedious instead of relaxing, the scares were weak and predictable, the ending section with the breaker box felt like…
