I found this game looking for a modern successor to Patrician 3 or the Port Royale series. This game doesn't have everything patrician had, but it does have the best of it, and it's pretty fun if you like that kind of game. The demo gives you a good view of the game. Very recomended.

It's a nice and cozy little trading game. Simple stuff: buy low, sell high. It reminds me a bit of High Seas Trader back on DOS, at least for the trading portion. I wish there was a bit more fluff to the town management and some ship management too. Right now, you can build shops to produce resources once you have enough reputation with a town, and you can upgrade your ship in some towns, but you don't have a big…

Tried to like it but there's too many things missing to properly grasp what you're doing. You can do a circuit and get money that way but the moment you try anything else it goes down hill. Overall it's a UI problem since it's not actually clear what you are doing, especially the automation and production side is just a gamble. Like I'm not joking when I say I don't even know enough of what's going on to properly…
